  • SCHOOL-WIDE VOCABULARY
The LHS Building Planning Team has developed school-wide vocabulary to support one of our District Initiatives.  The vocabulary verbs have been identified by our team as words common on all state assessments.  As we did last year, teachers will incorporate the Word of the Week into their lessons.  Teachers expose & explain these words in specific content areas to students during the week we are highlighting them.  These verbs are also part of the vocabulary used in locally developed assessments. Click here to download the vocabulary list.
