Welcome to Truman Elementary School!

Truman School is committed to providing a quality education for all of our children.  We believe that this can be accomplished with parents, teachers, staff and community members working together to promote the best interests of children.  Parents are an important member of our school community and can become actively involved in the school through such activities as classroom volunteers, membership on various committees, and membership in the Truman School Parent Teacher Association.  We welcome your participation and look forward to working with all of our students’ families.

Truman School Mission Statement
We believe that all children will become proficient in English Language Arts, Math, and other academic subjects, as they are educated in a culturally responsive environment that is in accordance with the New York State Common Core Learning Standards. Truman School will develop students who demonstrate social growth, pride in the community, and the desire to strive for individual educational excellence.
