WELCOME MESSAGE
Welcome to Lackawanna Middle School. Our school population is 240 students in grades 7 & 8. The diversity of our community is considered strength in our school. Students learn to study, work and socialize in an environment that fosters mutual understanding and respect. It is our hope that because of the experiences our students face each day, they are better prepared to deal with an increasingly diverse society at large.

Mission Statement:
The Lackawanna Middle School will assist and empower students to be responsible life-long learners who are prepared to excel in a culturally diverse society both in and beyond the classroom.

Vision Statement:

The students at Lackawanna Middle School will be educated in a safe, productive environment where motivated learners follow a standards-based curriculum facilitated by highly certified and dedicated teachers, support staff, and actively engaged parents.
