The Parent Teacher Student Organization
The Parent Teacher Student Organization (P.T.S.O.) would like to invite any parent or student in the Lackawanna School District (attending any of the four schools) to become a member. Teachers are also encouraged to join.
The P.T.S.O. gives recognition and awards to students who attain academic averages of 85% or higher quarterly. Every ten weeks, schools host an honors breakfast where students are presented certificates, plaques, or trophies for their many achievements.

Merit Roll = rounded average of 85% to 89%

Honor Roll = rounded averages of 90 to 94 %

High Honor Roll = rounded averages of 95% and up.
An additional award is given to students who may not have earned an 85% average but have shown significant improvement in their work. These students receive The Most Improved Student Award.
