  • REGISTER FOR THE Y.W.C.A. SUMMER PROGRAM

    The YWCA Summer Club program for Lackawanna Middle School students begins July 9. The club offers engaging activities and field trips that support students’ academic, social, emotional and physical wellness.

    Students entering grades 6, 7 and 8 in fall 2018 are eligible for enrollment. To enroll your child in this year's program, view and complete the enrollment packet, as well as the meal selection form and income eligibility form.

  • NEW PHYSICAL GUIDELINES

    Starting in the 2018-19 school year, physicals will be required for students in pre-kindergarten / kindergarten and grades 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 and 11. This is in addition to any new students entering the district.

    Please note these grades are different from previous years! It is not too early to call your doctor and schedule an appointment.

    As a result of a vendor change in phone services, the district has moved forward with a new main phone number for incoming calls. The new number is (716) 821-5610.

  • UNIVERSAL PRE-KINDERGARTEN (UPK) REGISTRATION

    The UPK Program is for children who are four years old on or before Dec. 1, 2018. Our UPK Program is located at Truman Elementary School. Please visit our UPK webpage for more information or download our UPK flyer.

  • EXTENDED SCHOOL DAY PROGRAM AVAILABLE AT MIDDLE SCHOOL

    Lackawanna Middle School and the YWCA have partnered together to offer Lackawanna Middle School students a FREE Extended School Day. Program hours are 2:04-4:34 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The staff works together to provide engaging activities and enrichment programs offered during afterschool hours that focus on four themes: Health and Wellness, Leader in Me, Science Academy and Artists’ Academy.

  • ATTENDANCE

    As part of our comprehensive intervention plan, the District Attendance Teacher, Mrs. Meagan Bender, monitors, collects and reports student attendance data. She also serves as part of the District Data Team and is the District McKinney Vento representative for homeless students/families.
