Welcome to Martin Road Elementary. We are excited about the possibilities and accomplishments your child will enjoy during their time in grades 3-6. Here at Martin Road, we try to keep things simple by living by only 2 school rules. Those being 1- Respect the authority of an adult and 2- Respect yourself, others and property. From these we try to focus on reinforcing respectful and positive behaviors throughout our school day using a simple color code for behavior. All students begin everyday on “Green”. Should behavior become negative during the course of a day, their color will change on a chart. Each color indicates the level of severity of inappropriate behavior as well as a consequence. Our goal everyday is to – Start GREEN and Stay GREEN!
