  • SERVICE ACADEMY NIGHT
    U.S. Senetor Gillibrand and U.S. Representative Higgins are hosting the 2014 Service Academy Night on Thursday, October 9, 2014 for any high school students interested in applying to a service academy or ROTC program.  See attached flyer for details.

  • PSAT BULLETIN
    The PSAT will be offered on Oct.15, 2014 in the LHS Cafeteria periods 1-4.  It is highly recommended that all 11th grade students take the PSAT. Presentations explaining the test, cost and registration were given in all 11 grade English classrooms on Sept. 30, 2014. The PSAT will give students feedback about critical academic skills, help students get ready for college, enter scholarship competitions and prepare for the SAT. Students must bring two No. 2 pencils and an approved calculator to the test. Students may register for the PSAT in the Guidance Office. The registration deadline is Oct. 9, 2014.  If you have questions regarding the PSAT, please contact the Guidance Office.

  • planetarium SHADOWS OF THE MOON PLANETARIUM SHOW
    This Planetarium show will be held on Wed., Oct.1 at the Lackawanna High School Planetarium from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Mr. Gabreski, Planetarium Director and member of PAWNY (Planetarium Association of Western New York), will present to the community on lunar and solar eclipses. This show is free to the public.
