  • TOUCHPAD SCANNERS
Lackawanna High School is implementing a new program in your child’s cafeteria developed by SLTech, our cafeteria software provider. The program introduces a device that uses a new way for your child to access his/her meal account by using a sensor that identifies the child by the touch of his/her finger. We are planning to implement the use of the new touchpad scanners beginning Monday, May 5, 2014. We have compiled a list of Frequently Asked Questions to address any possible questions you may have. Click here to download an Opt Out Form.

  • SCHOOL-WIDE VOCABULARY
The LHS Building Planning Team has developed school-wide vocabulary to support one of our District Initiatives.  The vocabulary verbs have been identified by our team as words common on all state assessments.  As we did last year, teachers will incorporate the Word of the Week into their lessons.  Teachers expose & explain these words in specific content areas to students during the week we are highlighting them.  These verbs are also part of the vocabulary used in locally developed assessments. Click here to download the vocabulary list.
