2019-2020 Budget and Election Information

***The 2019-20 Budget has passed with 420 votes in favor and 156 votes against. For the Board of Education election of 2 seats, Nicholas Sobaszek received 483 votes and Mona Abdulla received 359 votes.***

The Lackawanna City School District Budget Vote will take place on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 from noon to 9 p.m. Polling site information is below.

Public Hearing on the proposed 2019-20 budget will take place in the Martin Road Elementary School cafeteria, 135 Martin Road, on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 6 p.m.

During the budget vote, Lackawanna residents will also vote upon two open Board of Education seats. Candidates will be running for three-year terms.
