Food Services Department

ALL students attending Lackawanna City Schools are eligible to receive healthy breakfast and lunch meals AT NO CHARGE, regardless of their household income. This is due to the district being part of the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), which allows the district to receive federal and state meal reimbursements for all students.

In order for the district to maximize state and federal aid, ALL families MUST complete a Household Income Eligibility Form and return it to school. A paper copy of the form can be found in the 2022-23 District Calendar mailed to residents in August. This form can also be found on Page 29 of the 2022-2023 Print Calendar that was mailed to families in August.

Questions or concerns can be addressed to the Food Service Director at 821-5610 ext. 2913.
