VEX Conference competition

Two of our LCSD teachers, Mr. Lawton and Mr. Bitar recently attended the VEX Robotics Educators Conference in Dallas, Texas. Their goal? To gain insights into effectively implementing robotics curriculum in their classrooms.

During their time there, they had the pleasure of meeting the founder of VEX Robotics, Bob Mimlitch, and networking with fellow STEM educators. Our teachers had hands-on experience with upcoming products from VEX and had the opportunity to witness the excitement of the VEX World Competition, where teams from middle and high schools representing over 50 countries competed.

Inspired by the event, they're now considering the possibility of forming our own team in Lackawanna to participate in future competitions.

Congratulations to our teachers for participating in this wonderful experience! With the lessons learned from this event, we can't wait to see what Lackawanna does next with robotics!
