Grade 5 students in the Lackawanna School District had the chance to prepare for attending Lackawanna Middle School during a presentation and tour given by student council members and student ambassadors.
The morning long event had Middle School students sharing information about classes as well as extracurricular activities in the school building. In addition to asking questions, the elementary students had a chance to tour the school. The student tour guides did an awesome job as they spoke from their personal experiences.
All the students left with a goodie bag and a freezie pop thanks to the student council! And yes, the popular steeler man made an appearance as students left the building.
