Join the City of Lackawanna for a vibrant Juneteenth Community Celebration on Wednesday, June 19, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Jeffrey Taggart Park (135 Odell St., Lackawanna).
This free, family-friendly event will feature a full afternoon of music, food, entertainment, and community resources to honor the importance of Juneteenth.
Event highlights include:
Softball games featuring the Xclusive T-Shirts Softball League
Basketball games for youth ages 8–10 and 12–14, presented by LA Sports Club 716 and Steel City Sports Club
Line dancing with Tyra, known for "Where Them Fans At"
A community BBQ, local vendors, and more!
Every Bottom Covered will be distributing baby supplies and personal care items including shampoo, lotion, conditioner, deodorant and more
