The LHS guidance team pushed into freshman classes this week to help set students up for success!
Students were tasked with completing a scavenger hunt around the high school, where they were introduced to key players and important places in the building.
Students visited the library, the nurses office, the tech office and visited our school social workers and administrators, learning valuable information about their roles in the school and how they work to help our students on the day to day.
Students who completed the scavenger hunt and returned it to guidance earned a prize to reward their efforts!
The activity not only helped freshmen feel more comfortable navigating their new environment, but also built meaningful connections with the staff and resources available to support them.
The guidance team hopes this experience will empower students to start their high school journey with confidence and a clear sense of where to turn for help along the way.
