Truman Elementary School will celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Week from February 9–13 with daily themed activities that encourage students to spread kindness in meaningful ways. The week serves as a reminder that small, thoughtful actions can make a big difference and create a lasting ripple effect throughout the school community.
Daily themes include Crazy for Kindness (wear crazy socks and share a smile or compliment), Be Kind to Yourself (pajama day with a focus on self-care), Hats Off to Kindness (wear a favorite hat and lend a helping hand), Team Kindness (wear team attire and work with a new friend), and Be RED-y for Kindness (wear red, pink or hearts and tell someone why they matter).
Through these activities, students are encouraged to practice empathy, positivity and connection in their everyday lives
