LCSD is incredibly grateful to our local nonprofit partner, The Teacher’s Desk of Buffalo, NY, for their generous donation to Truman Elementary School. Through their kindness and commitment to supporting education, The Teacher’s Desk donated $12,000 worth of school supplies to benefit our students and staff.
The supplies were thoughtfully packed and delivered directly to the school, where our maintenance crew and teacher aides worked together to organize and sort the materials for classroom use. This grant will have a meaningful and lasting impact, helping ensure our classrooms are well-equipped for learning and success.
