It's time for this week's Staff Spotlight! Recognizing Math 7 & 8 RTI Teacher at LMS Alicia Janiszewski.

"I earned my bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education from SUNY Potsdam and completed my master’s degree in Differentiated Instruction from Canisius University. Throughout my career, I have taught a wide range of courses, from Math 7 through AP Calculus. This is my third year in the Lackawanna City School District, where I currently serve as the Math 7 & 8 RTI Teacher at Lackawanna Middle School.
I have truly fallen in love with the Lackawanna community, especially the students and staff at the middle school. Serving in the RTI role has allowed me to return to the foundations of mathematics while helping students build both their understanding and their confidence."
