Coach Marcus Rivers, Varsity Football Head Coach, was recognized at last night’s Board of Education meeting for an outstanding season and his recent Coach of the Year honors.

Rivers was named both WNY Coach of the Year and The Buffalo News Coach of the Year following a remarkable Fall 2025 season. Under his leadership, the Varsity Football team captured the Section VI, Class B2 Championship, a testament to the team’s hard work, discipline and commitment.

During the meeting, district leaders commended Coach Rivers for his success and reflected on his impact throughout his time in the district. They also expressed excitement for the future of the program and the continued leadership he brings to student-athletes.

Congratulations to Coach Rivers on this well-deserved recognition and an incredible season.
