Two Lackawanna High School students are being recognized for their exceptional writing talent after earning top honors in a recent competition hosted by Daemen University.
Carly Buckley and Waseem Alawdi were both selected as winners in the university’s writing competition, marking the first time two students from the same school have received this distinction.
This achievement highlights not only the individual creativity and dedication of Carly and Waseem, but also the strength of the academic experience at Lackawanna High School.
