Lackawanna Middle School students have an opportunity to finish the school year strong through the Middle School Study Table program.
Study Table offers weekly after-school support in four core subjects: Science, Social Studies, Math and English. Students can receive help with missing assignments, test corrections, homework and other coursework before the end of the year.
The program runs from 2:20 to 3:30 p.m. Students should meet in the cafeteria to check in with the YWCA. Families must have up-to-date paperwork on file for their child to attend. Students will also receive a snack, time to decompress from the school day, a hot meal and transportation home.
The weekly schedule is as follows:
Monday: Science with Ms. Thompson, Room 313
Tuesday: Social Studies with Mr. Redder, Room 315A
Wednesday: Math with Ms. Janiszewski, Room 308
Thursday: English with Ms. Abdul-Aziz, Room 306
