Congratulations to Sue Pernick on her induction into the New York Volleyball Coaches Association (NYVCA) Hall of Fame, Class of 2026.
In her 6-year tenure at Girls Varsity Volleyball Coach, Sue built the Lackawanna girls volleyball program from the ground up.
Prior to Lackawanna, Sue spent 25-years coaching at Lancaster with 6 NYS Championship appearances and 2 NYS Championship titles. She also coached at 1-year at Williamsville North and 6-years at West Valley.
Sue's impact on student-athletes, coaches, and the game of volleyball throughout Western New York has been tremendous. Beyond her coaching accomplishments, Sue is a retired physical education teacher who continues to give back to our students and school community as a full-time lifeguard, supporting our district-wide swim instruction initiative for students in grades 2–12.
