I hope you and your family enjoyed a safe, relaxing, and memorable summer. It is with great excitement that I welcome you to the 2026-2027 school year at Lackawanna Middle School.
Effective September 19, 2026, I am honored to serve as the Principal of Lackawanna Middle School. After proudly serving as the Assistant Principal, I am excited to step into this new leadership role and continue supporting our students, staff, families, and community. This year marks my 29th year in education and my 22nd year as an administrator within the Lackawanna City School District. I am grateful for the opportunity to build upon the strong relationships and experiences that have been such an important part of my educational journey, and I look forward to leading our school into the future.
Having dedicated my administrative career to the Lackawanna City School District, I am deeply committed to fostering a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment where every student can learn, grow, and succeed. Working alongside our outstanding staff and families, we will continue to build strong relationships, maintain high expectations, and provide meaningful opportunities that promote academic achievement, personal growth, and positive relationships.
This school year, we will continue to strengthen our commitment to academic excellence, student engagement, and a positive school culture guided by our Steeler Standards. These expectations help foster responsibility, respect, and pride throughout our school community. Your involvement, support, and partnership are essential to your child's success, and I look forward to building strong relationships with our families throughout the year.
Our students will have many opportunities to excel both inside and outside the classroom through academics, athletics, clubs, leadership experiences, and extracurricular activities. We encourage every student to get involved, explore new interests, challenge themselves, and take pride in representing Lackawanna Middle School and showing their Steeler Pride each day.
