Kids work on measuring in the classroom

Fifth-grade students in Ms. Saleh and Ms. Rzepka’s classes explored additive volume through a hands-on measuring activity. Students measured boxes of different sizes and applied their understanding of volume to investigate how the volumes of smaller rectangular prisms can be combined to find the total volume of a larger figure. By measuring, exploring, and applying mathematical concepts, students are building a deeper understanding of volume and strengthening their problem-solving skills.
